DRAW THE LINE is an exhibition project by Maíra Dietrich and Maria Noujaim that emerges from the intersections of their practices and shared interests in drawing, language, the body, its movements, and scores, in an installation that unfolds and moves with/for the space.
Cultivating the experimental and generative nature of their practices, the exhibition invites the public to experience the works through a series of spatial circuits and to engage with them from different points of view. By activating the body, which often moves passively through art exhibitions, the project suggests that a drawing can be perceived with the whole body, allowing oneself to be traversed by all the planes and relationships that the works establish with one another and with the space.
DRAW THE LINE consists of the lines, intersections, and boundaries summoned by the artists through their practices, and by the participation of the public, who sets the choreographies of the drawings in motion.
