No language (“linguagem nenhuma” in portuguese) is a central expression in the poetics of Fernando Pessoa, appearing in Poem XXXI of The Keeper of Sheep. It refers to the language of nature, which is pure existence and sensation, devoid of interpretation, concepts, or human constructs.
